Nilphamari District: 
Nilphamari : Nilphamari Jela in like manner Nilphamari Zila) is a locale in Northern Bangladesh. It is a bit of the Rangpur Division. It is 400 km from the capital Dhaka in north and west side. History: 
Previously Nilphamari was under Rajshahi division. The Nilphamari subdivision was made in 1875, Nilphamari was a subdivision of Rangpur District. It was changed into a district in 1984. The area contains 3 areas, 33 wards, 65 mahallas, 62 union parishads, 390 mouzas and 370 towns. This area has 6 sub locales. They are-Nilphamari Sadar, Saidpur,jaldhaka, Kishoreganj, Domar, Dimla


Chronicled claim to fame:
